It's Been So Cold ~~

It's been so cold here in Central NY! Two straight weeks of subzero temperatures is enough already. Tuesday the high was 13 degrees and it felt warm. There is definately something wrong with that!

This cold spell really makes me want to cuddle and knit. My most recent creations include:

This lucious scarflette made with alpaca and peruvian highland mix. It is so soft and knit with a lace and cable design:

This paperback book cozy that just feels right and really does make readinig a pleasure:

A nice little neck warmer in wool and acrylic blend in lovely green cables:

And a lined knit wool cable purse in 100% wool that will hold all your necessaries:

Don't forget to visit me on etsy, shophandmade and artfire

Wonderful pictures and such delightful pieces that you have made! I love them all, although I think the cable scarflette is my very favorite! The photograph with the fog kind of makes it look like a felted scene! Perfect for your blog!

I really love that photo of the winter scene. It is beautiful. It looks like it belongs on a Christmas card. It's been cold here as well but we really haven't gotten any weather such as snow.

That book cover looks awesome! I keep meaning to try one sometime....

I gave up and turned the heat up a degree this evening because I was tired of being cold at home all the time ---- and it is not even as cold as it is where you are here.

I would much rather have snow than this cold, though. We have not had any yet.
