My Newest Favorite Book

I love a good story.

My most recent favorite book is a fictional story set around the historical Chester Gillette - Grace Brown murder case of 1906.

This book really doesn't focus on the murder itself, but of a young girl's life who just happened to be working at the Big Moose Inn when it happened.

A Northern Light by Jennifer Donnely is fantastic and I recommend it for your next read! I had read Murder in the Adirondacks by Craig Brandon several years ago and I recommend reading that first as a historical account of the incident first, just so you know what really happened!

And if you are interested in the true story, here is a link that gives you a brief account.

This sounds interesting. Perhaps I can get it from the library for the trip to NY for Christmas. I will be in the truck for a very long time.
