Craft Fair Weekend

This was my second year participating in the DodgePratt Northrom Art and Community Craft Fair that is held in conjunction with the Woodsmen's Field Days. The show is 2 days on the lawn of a beautiful victorian building in the heart of down town Boonville NY.

Last year I was incredibly nervous as it was my very first show ever, but this year I felt prepared and worked hard to create an inviting booth filling it with color and interesting items. Hubby made me some great pieces to display my work and I may just try to talk him into making some more!

My daughters all pitched in to help me and we had a great time until Sunday afternoon when the skys opened up and poured on us. We enjoyed musicians, a parade on Saturday, great food and lovely weather - until Sunday of course!

I would love any comments you have to enhance the presentation, so please feel free to provide any suggestions for my next one!

Valerie, what a beautiful setting for your craft fair - so green and pretty. Your display is outstanding, very colorful and appealing and nicely set up with the tiers for the booties, etc.

So much room - I have to make do with 2 card tables and a few wicker baskets for our local Farmers Market as I have to transport and set up alone and that's all I can manage.

I think if you're proud of your items, set them out in an easy to reach fashion and be friendly and available to answer questions, people will easily be drawn to your 'booth'. Your Craft Fair display looks perfect. Happy to hear you had a good time.

Nice display - it looks good to me. Is that you standing there in one of the photos?

How did your sales go? Did you sell a lot? You probably did. All your stuff sells well.

Just wondering...

I've missed you Valerie! All your bowls were missing from your shop! Now I can make my purchase.

The area with the slippers is wonderful! I just love seeing them!

Great job! Congrats!
